Jessica is originally from Alliance, Ohio and graduated as a home-schooler. She continued her education in Human Development and Family Studies with a concentration in Lifespan Development at Kent State University. In May of 2013, she graduated magna cum laude earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Family Life Education.

During her senior year, Jessica began an internship at the Immigrant Worker Project where she did case work and interpreted between English and Spanish for clients in various settings including local courts and immigration appointments. In July of 2013, Jessica began work as a Paralegal for Wolters Law Office. In 2015, she worked in Honduras as an ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher and Certified Family Life Educator. Jessica continues her work as a paralegal by providing web-based assistance with bilingual client communications and office operations.
