 Anthony grew up in Dayton, Ohio and attended Chaminade Julienne High School. He then attended Boston University where he studied archaeology and anthropology and graduated cum laude. Anthony continued his studies at Kent State University in a graduate program in anthropology with a concentration on biological anthropology. He then left graduate school to pursue a law degree. Anthony attended the University of Akron School of Law and graduated cum laude in May 2008.

After law school, Anthony practiced with the Stark County Public Defender Office, representing individuals in various criminal and juvenile court cases. In the beginning of 2012 Anthony established Wolters Law Office, LLC and began a private legal practice focusing on immigration and criminal law. Anthony is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
